My Transformation

I asked God to come into my life and help me. That night I felt the beginning of a cleansing of my body. All the doubt, fear, and pain was slowly leaving my body, and the crazy thing was that I could feel it leaving. This was the best feeling I ever had in my life, and I was already thanking God for answering my prayers so quickly at a time that was the lowest point of my life...

Over the next week, the Spirit of the Lord was so heavy on me. My mind was completely cleansed. It was as if I had started life all over again. This is what they mean when the preacher in the church says you need to be born again of the Spirit. You can’t  know what it means until you take that step to ask God for help and tell him that you are sorry...

I knew that what was happening to me was because of that night I cried and asked God for forgiveness. I felt my face changing. It was as if it were tightening and becoming more youthful. In the bible, it talks about The Transfiguration of Jesus when he went to the mountain. God brought me through a period of a seven-day transfiguration, and during this period I regained my youth and had a strong curiosity about the word of God. I read continuously during that seven-day cleansing and gained so much knowledge from the Word of God...

Eventually, I came upon Isaiah 11...

Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus...
